Wall Cladding is required to boost the interior or exterior of a building. These wall claddings can be used on present decorated sides or an undecorated surface, which is brick walls, plastered walls, etc.

Wall cladding generally consists of big hygienic plastic sheets of different sizes & design. The wall cladding sheets are merged with each other and these wall claddings are held to the walls with the help of screws. The screws or fixings are concealed by the wall cladding itself and this makes it a much more visually likeable installation.  Few of the fittings or components needed for the installation of wall cladding may include: ·H Trim fitting ·Colour strips ·Chrome coving fitting ·End cap piece ·External and Internal corner fittings

Depending on the nature and situation of the ceiling or wall, it can be determined what kind of fitting is required.

If nails need to be used, then they are to be put evenly & level in the lip of the wall panel; taking care that we do not strike the wall panel with the hammer. These ways only apply while fixing the wall panels to a wooden battening or wooden surface.

Gluing does work effectively only when it is applied to an even or dry wall. The wall should be cleaned &it should be free of any lubricious substances & dust and only a special type of adhesive should be applied.

When fixing the wall panels to the wooden battening the suggested method is stapling. The wooden battening is required to be flat& level &packed out where essential on un-even walls. This needs to be done so that the paneling does not progress into a curvature when succeeding un-even walls.

If the walls happen to be uneven or damp, treated timbers need to be used for battening to confirm a sufficient quantity of ventilation at the back of the panels. Battens need to be spaced 40cm to 60 cm apart.

Benefits of wall cladding are: ·Does not need grouting ·Waterproof and rot proof ·Installs on different types of surfaces ·Easy and quick to install ·Helps decrease condensation
